London (Daily Mail): A cyber security expert has revealed the four words you should never click on in a pop-up window because it could lead to your bank account being drained.

Cyber-criminals will regularly use spyware to keep a keen eye on your online habits, and if you’ve been duped into downloading spyware via a pop-up message, the damage a potential hacker could do is limitless.

A cyber security expert from McAfee told The Sun: ‘Never click “Agree,” “OK,” “No,” or “Yes” in a pop-up, as these actions can trigger an automatic spyware download.’

Spyware can stealthily record sensitive personal and financial information, such as usernames, passwords, and credit card numbers.

Although there is a possibility that a hacker could install the sinister spyware via physical access to your device, there is a higher chance you will fall victim as a result of your own online mishaps.

Fraudsters will try to bamboozle you into downloading bank-draining software by making you believe that you are installing something else.

The cyber expert said that it’s crucial not to download any files from sources that are not trusted.
